Clete Boyer led off with a home run, Skowron was his by a pitch, Rickey Henderson got a base hit, Phil Rizzuto walked, and Roger Maris send them all home with a grand slam. DiMaggio followed up with a solo home run. The Yankees led by ten and it was essentially over. Before it was done Angels pitching would have given up eight home runs. The Yanks took home a lopsided decision 16-0. Joe DiMaggio had a dominant series, hitting .625 with five homers and 11 RBI.
